Jennifer Highland received her Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from Yale University, and her doctoral degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM) in Biddeford, Maine. Graduation honors included the New England Academy of Osteopathy and OMM Award, and the James Jealous Scholarship for Excellence in Osteopathy. She completed a traditional rotating internship at Long Beach Medical Center on Long Island, followed by a two-year residency in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx. She has been practicing in Plymouth since 2000. Dr. Highland is board-certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She has extensive training in Cranial Osteopathy, and assists at local and national courses. She also serves as adjunct clinical faculty at UNECOM.
Dr. Highland's personal interests include hiking, gardening, poetry, and the study of Tai Chi. All of these interests inform and expand her practice and her relationships with patients. |
